When the adult coloring book trend first came out, I was so excited and kept buying multiple books. But I found that I barely would finish a single page in all my adult coloring books because I never wanted to take on the intricate patterns and small lines and features these books contained. I loved the idea of them, but instead of finding them relaxing, they were just overwhelming, and they sat on a shelf for a long time until many were donated. I then discovered other coloring books that featured much more simple designs, but still aimed for adults who just wanted to color and relax and keep it simple! My books are designed with that in mind, those just looking for a calming activity, simple, and relaxing. I struggle with anxiety and this activity has been one that truly calms my anxious mind and something I genuinely look forward to doing to relax!
